Machinist

2nd shift Machinist for temp-to-hire opportunity.

Level of skill will dictate the pay rate!

Machinist setup/operate with multi-spindle experience.

This is a manual machinist position with good math skills.

Duties:

• Coordinate the day to day operation of several automatic screw machines.  
  
• Supervise an operator when necessary
  
• Interpret shop prints and machine layouts for in depth projects
  
• Troubleshoot machining problems
  
• Repair and rebuild machinery when necessary
  
• Utilize various grinding wheels and jigs to sharpen machine tooling
  
  
• Use Windows NT Operating System controlling the lathe along with other software in the daily execution of duties 
   
• Brown & Sharp only Writing M Code and G Code for a two axis CNC
  
• Use a customer print to layout tooling for most efficient process
