Overview
For 30 years, Operation A.B.L.E. has been preparing job seekers age 45 and older to make their way back to meaningful employment. Never in our rich history has this mission been more critical.
For job seekers 45 and older, we offer a selection of instructor-led classes that develop the skills that employers have come to require. For individuals 55 and older, our on-the-job training program pays a stipend to work for a non-profit organization or government agency. We also have services for the individual job seeker wanting one-on-one computer training, job coaching, or job search support.
The common thread weaving through all of these initiatives is our relentless attention to preparing participants to look for – and find – meaningful employment. That means cover letter and resume reviews, employer interviews, job leads, one-on-one counseling, and loads of encouragement.
